You're already running my code in production: My journey to become a Go contributor

In this talk, I walk the audience through the lifecycle of a Go standard library contribution, from idea to final merge. This high-level talk is meant to encourage others to contribute to Go via bug reports, proposals, or even code, by explaining the process in simple, non-intimidating terms.
